About Poppins

30ish year old Perfectionist living out her daily life as an imperfect mother of three not so little ones. She hearts all things pandas, gnomes, Doctor Who, Totoro, and Harry Potter. She is not a Muggle and you can't prove otherwise! #HarryPotterForever

She writes books and blogs, all while eating gobs of ice cream (The low carb kind, so it's totally ok!) and having the "occasional" glass (or three) of wine.

Um yeah ... so things have changed since Poppins started this blog. Though she still writes are takes photos in her spare time the majority of her time is spent taking photos and studying photography. (Check out her website Marybeth Smith Photography!), she actually is currently enrolled in college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Communications.

Though Poppins is no longer as active as she once was as an advocate for mental health, she still does what she can to support the community. In 2010, she founded and created the website www.askabipolar.com in hopes of helping others understand what it’s like to suffer from mental illnesses, which is now ran by The Bipolar Hot Mess. In 2011 Poppins also wrote and published the Amazon Kindle Best Seller, Fall Girl and the sequel, Stumble and Fall which released in 2013. (You should buy them! They love being bought!!!)
