And so it seems that the latest trend is circling around "vlogs" or "video blogs" if you don't speak twitter lingo (twitter lingo: a lingo in which you regularly mix two words together to form one. ie blate -blog date; blove -blog love; tweind -twitter friend; twend -twitter trend; twashtagger -twitter hash tagger)
I don't how I feel about the whole vlogging, putting my face and my voice out there for the whole world to see thing. And if I vlogged I'd have to put on make up and take off my "Team Edward" shirt and put on something appropriate. See I'm not so sure that works for me.
What are your thoughts on vlogging? Would you even want to see me vlog?
Alright time to get my "Personal Family Day" started! Time to de-stress :)

I've done 'em before. I think they add a bit of personality to the one-dimensional person we get to know as readers, and it's fun to hear a blogger's voice, see them in action, when (in some cases) we've become so close.
But, I think there has to be a relevance. Something that ties in to the blog's feel or a specific post topic, something special. I've seen random stuff that was for show more than anything.
I say you let that Team Edward shirt shine. Or sparkle, maybe. ;)
Do it! And take it from me. You can do your vlog sideways, or upside down or in the dark! And then...no one will even notice what you're saying or what you look like.
I will not be doing vlogs. My fingers are far more talented than my mouth. If you think I babble via QWERTY, you'd hate to watch me babble. Also, I hate my speaking voice and the thought of having to read my published picture books and novels aloud to groups of people makes me piss my pants.
You should do them though, you're pretty.
I don't think I'd do a vlog... and I usually don't bother watching them when someone else posts one. I dunno what it is, I guess my day is too busy as it stands to watch a 5 minute video on everyone's blog. I can skim through a written post much easier and faster!
But... what the heck, why not try it and see what the response is, if you're curious? :)

I think the vlogs are pretty cool. I like hearing a person and lining it up with the voice I read.
I'll never do one though. Oh no. LOL Me and my nasal voice and big nose would scare people off. *snicker*
I'd love to see one of you! Bet it would be funny. And I agree with Janna. Wear your shirt. :-)
I like watching them of other people - not so sure I'm ready to do one myself, though! :-)
I am in the camp of "It's great if everyone else does it, but there's no way I'm ever going to do it myself". :D I would so follow you, but the following app seems to be on the fritz. I'll try again later. (Magic 8 ball anyone?)
Team Edward shirt?! I want one. We should have a vlog date day that you vlog with our Team Edward shirt on, coffee in hand, wearing sunglasses a la Mary Kate!
Cool?! k...
Well, you know how I feel about vlogging because I answered *your* questions on my vlog today!
Gave you a shout out on Twitter and FB too :)
I just vlogged for the first time today. It was weird. But I definitely think I'll do it again. I kinda had fun with it :-) You should definitely do one.
I don't vlog and I know you want to be just like me. So....
I don't do vlogs. I love blogging. I occassionally twitter. I mostly lurk in the twitter world, listening to agents and editors.
Have a great personal family day.
Okay the Team Edward shirt should definitely stay on lol
I have done podcasting before so i'm not afraid to let my voice be heard by others....plus I am able to get all the things out of my head by speaking in 3 minutes than typing it all out in 3 minutes... it's just the thought of many people seeing me is a bit nerve wrecking.... but then again it does sound interesting and i might include it in my blog sometime soon
If I have to take off my Team Edward shirt, I'm not doing it!
