My To Do List Today

First I need to fold about 5 baskets of these!

Then I have to use a bunch of these...To clean my house for before a friend comes over tomorrow.

Then I have to find ANOTHER chicken recipe so
I can do a little bit of this before my husband comes home

I need to get rich so I can hire me one of these!

Awww, you don't gots ta clean for me... (you do remember I'm visiting right? lol)

To get ya through the day, may I mention the no bake cheesecake that I picked up at the grocery store yesterday that may be making it's way to your house tomorrow. I am also making a cabbage salad that's yummier than it sounds (Dan's addicted to it). Can I bring some of that too as my contribution to lunch?

did she also mention that she's not there to visit your house? if she were, then you would have to hire one of those in order to get it pristine....but, alas, she is only there to visit you. thank the gods, right? i have to make it clear to most that they are not to visit my house. i would need a 2 week's notice to have them visit my house.

Life is too short to visit houses :)

Ooo! I'd love to hire one of those too! Seriously, that would save me so much time. I guess we'll just have to hold off on that until we become rich and famous. Shouldn't take too long, right? ;)

Oooo, the laundry basket looks like mine! I'm cooking a big mean tonight for my son's birthday, so lots of cooking for me. (though I am getting my hair cut at 1pm!)
I love a good haircut!!!!

Me too! I need a maid, too. And, maybe, a cook.

I'm slowly catching up on my laundry here.

I like cheese cake! (Especially No Bake!)

A cabbage salad sounds interesting...I'll try anything once!

And seriously, my house is a pig sty girls. I'm sorry Jess, but it MUST be cleaned. I want you to visit me and my house :)

And yes Katie, we need to get rich soon so we can hire us some house help. (Ooh...and a cute pool boy...I mean...COOK!)

Sherrinda...how does one cook a big mean Tonight? Does it taste good ;) I'm super curious what you ARE cooking though!

When you are done with your laundry Elizabeth, can you head over here and do mine too!!!

lol...I should proofread my comments better, shouldn't I? I am cooking his requests: roast, potatoes, carrots, homemade bread, and homemade blackberry cobbler. I will do a salad, though that was NOT on his menu! :)

That sounds way better than the chicken layer bake I was planning. What time is dinner! LOL

Marybeth, I want a maid too! I hate laundry and it is neverending over here!

I have a yummy, super-easy chicken casserole posted on my blog if ya wanna check it out.

So. . . how's it all coming today? Making any headway? The to-do list is never ending, isn't it? But I've enlisted the help of my older kiddos, and let me tell you, they are getting good and the work is likewise good for them!

There are times I want to be one of those Regency duchesses just to have the staff. And the clothes. And the Duke. And the balls.

Sigh...

Laundry and cleaning aren't my favorite things. But rest assured, you aren't the only one in domestic bliss today. I'm off for groceries. Yippee.

Cleaning and writing are always at odds in my house. Should I clean the shower or write???? Hmmmm... not really a hard choice! I should clean that shower though...

Welcome to my ultra busy world. Now how do we escape?

Writers don't have clean houses, do they? Bring on the maid. *Trying to shove my six-year-old boy into an apron* Not working so well.

Amen! I feel your pain. In fact, my pain is nearly identical to yours.

Tara, do you think an 8 yr old girl would fit better into that apron? (no matter she is the size of a 6 year old!)

Well that doesn't help if we ALL want maids. You girls just severely lessened my chances of actually getting one... LOL
