Who cares about Lions and Tigers and Bears!

We are talking about Mice and Dreams and Comcast! OH MY!!! This is much scarier than some big furry beasts if you ask me...

I mean seriously...mice...still furry beasts, but they aren't the big angry kind. No these little critters are much worse.

These tiny little fur balls look all cute and innocent...oh yeah...I admitted it...In certain light, at first glance, for one small moment while they are cleaning their dirty little fur, they momentarily look cute and innocent...MOMENTARILY I say! We all know however, they are anything BUT! Stupid little poop leaving vermin that eat my crumbs and scurry through my kitchen and spread nasty little disease through my house! Bitter? Why why would you say that? I don't THINK I sounded bitter... Oh, you caught it from the last sentence...well ok, yeah I'm bitter...

That dang little mouse crawled up into my insanely (because I'm anal about cleaning and crumbs and such) foodless bedroom last night and just stared at my husband and I. He looked at us as if we were old friends.

"Sup," the little critter said nodding to us.

We stared at him in fascination. My husband called him a "Bold Little Guy" .

Bold? Bold is not the word I was looking for. I was looking for stupid, idiotic, and with some nerve. My bedroom!!!!

Poison has been put out - we were out of traps....sigh - and it has been taken. Now hopefully the "Bold Little Guy" is found by my furry little husband and not me!

Moving along...

Dreams...irritating. I want to be having dreams about fantasy worlds and things that can inspire my writing. NOT dreams about old friends and nostalgia. That's just silly! Can someone find me the dream fairy so we can have a "talk" about the dreams that are NOT coming my way.

Moving along...

Comcast. Ever had to deal with them? Or should I just say cable/internet/phone companies all together....I could. But do yours call themselves "Comcastic!" Seriously! What is so "Comcastic" about my internet going down all the time and having a bunk modem?

So this my friends is why Mice, Dreams and Comast are way creepier and exceptionally MORE irritating than Lions and Tigers and Bears.

Just thought you oughta know!

(shudder) I don't do mice, but they are better than rats! We get rats in our attic. Not our house, thank goodness, because we have a cat, but it is terrible to hear them scurrying up there! (shudder once again) We do traps since poison just makes them die and stink up my house! What a nuisance they are, not to mention totally repugnant. (Nobody send me any hate mail...I'm just sayin'.)

I can't believe you poisoned that cute little mouse. We get mice at work - we're in 2 historic houses - every now and then. We have humane traps and then our IT guy takes the critters to the woods where he hikes and lets them loose.

As for Comcast . . . well, they STINK (I could use so many other words, but I'm trying to restrain myself). They have so many hidden charges it's not even funny. Do you realize that not only do I have to pay $7.95 for the HD box, but there's an additional $7.95 charge to receive digital service through that box. I mean, seriously, people, get a life.

So, I'm right there with you on Comcast.

Hope things get better soon.

Me either Sherrinda! And I was rooting for the traps...hubby thought poison would be better. If I start to smell things...UGH...now I'm really grossed out!

Scott come send your IT guys to come save them and take them out to the woods!

And don't even get me STARTED on my day (4 phone calls so far) with Comcast. The are NOT Comcastic, unless by Comcastic you mean that they totally SUCK! (sorry...didn't mean to get carried away there...told you not to get me started! LOL)

You are halarious. We had a mouse living in our garage for awhile. I wouldn't let Ryan set up traps. I think little mice are cute...I know, weird. But once the critter started eating through the granola bar wrappers in Ryan's lunch pale, Ryan put up the traps. Little mousy is now in mousy heaven. Maybe yours will join him soon. :)

Sorry about the dreams. I LOVE cool dreams! Hoping yours come back to you.

Mice are cute...I wouldn't want one running around my house though. I would be COMPLETELY stressed out because I couldn't kill it. Aren't there companies that will remove it and take it out the the meadow to run free with other little mice? Perhaps they give it some cheese and crackers before they send it off with a little ceremony? That might cost a little extra.

I agree with you about the mice. My kids are always saying, oh, they're so cute, but I'm of the eek! a mouse variety at heart. We didn't want to do the poison thing so we ended up buying these marvelous traps called Tin Cat and they work! You put a dollop of peanut butter inside, set the trap where the mice go, the mice slip in and can't get back out. In the morning you take the trap far from your house, preferably in some foresty place where they'll forget about your home, and release them. It's been working and I am very happy.

The dream fairy, on the other hand - you could send her my way, too, when she comes around. :)
