In which I may possibly have crossed a line...or two....

I asked my four year old what I should post about today, knowing that he tends to have interesting blog topics.

I said, "Tell me boy, what should I blog about today!" (ok well not that dramatically, but it sounded more fun!)

He said, "Me! I like hearing all about me!"

Can someone tell me why I couldn't have that kind of self confidence when I was a teen. Seriously! If I could bottle up his self assurance I could sell it to teens (*cough* and writers *cough*) and be a multi billionaire.

My ad ...

Come buy my confidence in a bottle! It will keep you up longer than a long lasting viagra!

Ok that doesn't really work.

Let's try that again ...

Confidence in a bottle ... Turn your angst into assholishness!

Crap that's not good either.

One more try! I swear I can do this ...

Not feeling the love for the reflection in the mirror? Try my Bottle of Confidence, you'll feel so awesome you'll want to make love to yourself.

No that's not what I was going for either!!!

I guess I could just go with the whole theory behind it ...

Confidence in a bottle ... Feel like a four year old again!

Yeah so if that was the case I probably wouldn't sell it. I'd probably hoard it all for myself and take advantage of the nap time!

Well if you guys can help me market it I'll see about bottling it up!!! Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Don't forget to stop by and read about my Gaping Plot Hole of Destruction!

There seems to be a lot of references to sex and self-confidence. No wonder you have so many kids. *snickering*

I'm starting to worry about you . . . just a bit. Though, the mirror one made me LOL! I don't think you should go for a job in advertising. : )

Enjoyed the post. I would be nice to have that confidence again. Especially when your book is sitting in front of an editor.

LOL. If you find a way to bottle it I will definitely buy some--even with the slightly disturbing slogans. :)

Sorry it's taken me a few days to hope around for a follow back--my followers spiked so quickly I've had a hard time keeping up (I guess that's what happens when signed Stephenie Meyer books are involved.)

Anyway, I really enjoyed your posts and I love regular commenters, so I'm totally following you now (er--in the non stalkerish way. Um. You know what I mean, right?) :)

BTW- I meant "hop" not "hope." Ah, the spelling correction comment of shame--my punishment for proofreading AFTER submitting. Le Sigh.

And I am so with you Shannon. YAY for regular commenters!

The angst to assholishness in a bottle would make a fabulous stocking stuffer. How soon are we to expect this on the market?? I would love to guzzle some of that down and go talk to some people I have in mind.

Clearly Paris Hilton has somehow snagged your secret supply.

I would SO buy confidence in a bottle. When's it going on the market?

If I could bottle my 7yr old's ADHD energy in a bottle, I could sell that shit like crack to college students needing to stay up for cram sessions. Then they wouldn't need to steal other kids ADHD meds! That is fo' sho'!

I cam over from MaryMac's place to show you some love!
