2. Feeding the ducks is like a relaxing brain massage. (Ummmm....I'll keep that in mind the next time my brain feels like it needs a massage....)
3. Even monkeys can be heroes. They are GREAT at finding chicks in the dark! (Bet my husband would've loved to hang out with those monkeys back in the day!)
4. Dr. Grover, The "Alphabet Specialist" from A's Anatomy on Sesame Street taught me that A is for Annoying. (He must have been hanging out with kids for too long that day)
5. Even poop can make a GREAT song topic.
And that kids, is why I love Public Television!!!!

I love PBS!! Though I think we might be watching different shows... LOL
I've never heard a song about POOP! Are you serious? Aren't you supposed to teach kids that "bathroom" talk is bad? And then they sing a song about POOP?!
Hmmm. Maybe I should have let my kids use that word? I THOUGHT I was doing the right thing!
Paula
Yeah, it was a show about the digestive track! Sid the Science Kid! I'm really not so sure my 4 year old understood ANY of it, but I do not doubt he was entertained by the poop song..LOL
I love Sid! Not so much Jared though. The kids love learning about science.
Ah yes PBS I've logged many an hour dazzled by it's awesome wonders!
Hmmmm! What have I learned from watching PBS? That I should turn off Cartoon Network and make my kid watch Sesame Street b/c he doesn't even know the whole alphabet song, but can remember the lyrics to Ben 10?! I know, I'm still working on excelling @ mommyhood. Cute blog:)
Sounds like a productive summer break so far. I'll be anxious to hear all that you've learned by the end of the summer after the kids have wracked up endless hours of PBS! You'll be a whiz!
Gotta love PBS! LOL
*is scarred for the rest of her life*
Sometimes I miss having television, but at other times I'm reminded why it's not such a bad thing. ;-)
